The perfect love life.

We are created for one purpose and it is to love God.”Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind for this is the greatest commandment” Matthew  22:37-38.

How can you love God? how can you Please him and serve him?  How can we do all these things?  How can we show the world how much we love   God?

We can do that, through the way we care and help others, the way we tell about God to others, the way we carry out our job, academics, tasks, the way we talk to and treat people, the way you live your life because people don’t read bibles anymore they simply read you.

Is your life a tapestry of God’s word? Are his scriptures interwoven into your everyday activities? Will people miss you and think about you when you are gone, the way the world still talks about Jesus ? Matthew 28:16-17- The same instruction that was given to Jesus was given to us but are we leaving behind the same legacy Christ left? That is how we show the world God, and how much we love him.

I read a book “A voice in the wind by francine Rivers” and the character, Hadassah said something that struck me. She said “unless we have something worth dying for, we have nothing worth living for. What can you die for?  That is the same thing you can live for. Why are you living for God if you cannot die for him? If you cannot go out of your way to help another, if you cannot serve someone by telling them about God then what are you living for?

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God–this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12 :1

God wants a living sacrifice, Not a dead one. That you might please him by your living and not by condemning yourself to self righteousness  or a boring lazy life in the name of Christianity. He wants Christians that will make marks in the world for him, he wants you to be wealthy that you might provide for others in his name.  He wants you as governors, rulers and leaders that you may lead people into his kingdom. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16.

Let the intensity of God in your works shine so Bright before others that they may see and draw near to God.

That is the way to show God how much you love him. A perfect love life!

Do you love God?
